Raven Implement Steering

Did you know that Raven also offers a range of Implement Steering solutions? Varying soil conditions, uneven loads, or hilly terrain have a major impact on implement performance. Raven Implement Steering allows your implement to steer itself following a set guidance line, making your workflow more reliable and preventing crop damage. The automatic steering solution ensures your implement doesn’t drift from its intended path due to weight, uneven load, or terrain – for example, disc steering.

Implement steering is suitable for all types of machines. Raven offers the perfect solution for a wide range of implements!

All eyes on: DISC STEERING

Depending on the size and type of implement, at least one disc coulter is installed behind the implement.

For small drills and other light implements, a single disc is often sufficient. Large, heavy-weight machines require at least two steering discs that are connected to each other by a rod. In the case of folding devices, the rod is replaced by two interconnected hydraulic cylinders.

Raven’s disc system prevents the device from slipping to the side. The tractor and implement are no longer offset, but rather operate in one line.

BENEFITS

  • High accuracy cultivating, even with slopes
  • Both tractor and implement are working on the exact same reference line
  • Tractor and implement steering are completely independent, offering high accuracy
  • Control with only one screen in the cabin
  • TWIN DISCS can be moved between different machines

Other implement steering types that Raven offers are: side shift steering, movable hitch steering, plough steering, steering rear wheels and drawbar steering.
