Good morning Tim! Could you introduce yourself? 

In May 2020, I was appointed to develop the Remanufactured Parts usage in Europe.
 
I have been working for CNH Industrial since 2007 in Dealer Parts Support, supporting our dealer network with logistics and order handling from the Zedelgem office in Belgium. After gaining responsibility for several markets (Benelux, France & Nordics & Baltics), I was offered this opportunity. 

My role, together with my team, consists of developing the usage and awareness of the Reman offering. Keeping this goal in mind, we implement regular actions on availability, communication and quality.

Since last year, the Reman business has become far more popular in the agricultural world. What is your plan this year to be able to meet the significantly growing demand?

This year we will launch over 100 new products in our Reman range. Among them, we will add a brand-new remanufactured radiators product line, and we will extend our offer of engines, hydraulic pumps & many more. Meanwhile, we are investigating with several suppliers if we can develop a range of rubber tracks and combine sieves.

According to you, how could Reman impact the agricultural business in the future?

Remanufactured parts are not that commonly used in the Agricultural Industry while many other industries have already shown it is a crucial offer at a strategical level. Not only does it offer a lower priced alternative, more importantly it reduces our ecological footprint as company, dealer or end-customer. In a nutshell, Reman can and will make the agricultural industry more cost-effective and more ecological.

What are you currently working on to increase the Reman usage in Europe?

The previous actions will for sure bring Reman closer to our customers, but we are also developing new ways to actively promote our products in the dealer network from the parts counter to the dealer workshop. In the end we need everybody to feel as confident in using Reman as any other product in the aftermarket offering. So stay tuned for further developments!
